BIOGRAPHY

Sam Quinn is an award-winning actor, filmmaker, and musician from Taos, New Mexico. Raised by visual artists, his early exposure to painting and pottery ignited a lifelong passion for the arts. At 10, Sam expanded his creative horizons by attending a circus camp, where he mastered juggling, stilt-walking, and unicycling. He furthered his artistic education at the Northeast School of the Arts in San Antonio, Texas, focusing on musical theatre, and earned a BFA in Acting with a minor in Contemporary Music from the Santa Fe University of Art and Design.

Sam's acting career began in Chicago's dynamic theater scene, where he performed in numerous productions and wrote and produced two original rock musicals. Transitioning to film and television, he has appeared in notable projects such as NBC's "The Night Shift," AMC's "Better Call Saul," and feature films "Transcendence" and "Jane Got a Gun."

As the founder of Broken Bicycle Films, a production company & film collective, Sam has directed several award-winning short films, a television pilot, and various music videos. His work has been recognized for its creativity and impact within the industry.

In addition to his filmmaking endeavors, Sam is an accomplished musician, fronting indie rock bands SLOW JEREMIAH and Virtual Friday. He also shares his expertise by teaching at Southwest Scene Works, nurturing the next generation of artists.

Currently, Sam splits his time between Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Los Angeles, California, continuing to contribute to the arts in both communities. He appreciates your visit to his website and hopes you enjoy exploring his work!
